Patient Participation Group
Our patient participation group meetings are held every quarter via Microsoft Teams, for further information and dates please contact the practice manager.
Out of hours
Due to the high demand in the use of the Out of Hours Service, the previous number of 0161 763 8940 will still be in use rather than 111. The new system has been unable to cope with the high volume of calls, therefore until further notice the original number is still to be used.

Arranging an appointment
Pre-bookable appointments are now available up to one month in advance. We do also offer ‘On the day’ appointments with the GP and certain appointment slots are now available online. Please ask at reception for further details. Please be aware, each GP appointment is 10 minutes long. Please respect this time.
Also please allow 2 working days for your repeat prescriptions. You can also order prescriptions electronically by registering on our web site.
Cancelling an appointment
GP and nurses time is very valuable. If you have got an appointment booked with us and feel you may be running late or need to cancel please be kind enough to contact the surgery allowing other sick patients to utilise these slots.

Remember an emergency is a problem that cannot wait (medical emergency). If you require an emergency appointment please contact the surgery as early as you can – Edgworth Medical Centre opens at 8.00am and Egerton & Dunscar surgery opens at 8.30am.
Any complaints or suggestions please give to reception or post them in our red prescription box. Our practice manager will be happy to listen.
